Mentor MP is a high-end DC inverter generation, inheriting the control platform from the smart AC drive lines to help bring optimal performance, flexible communication capabilities, easy integration with modern control systems via Ethernet & Fieldbus.
Mentor MP is designed to replace or upgrade traditional DC systems, providing precise control, easy programming, and modern communication integration.
Provides absolute safety control for most DC motors.
Requires external components.
Enhance your inspection field with the FXMP25
The FXMP25 can be used as a control unit using a standard RJ45 connection, allowing for standard frequency setup.
The FXMP25 can also operate in standalone mode using the built-in keyboard and display.
Enhance system design
The thermal cooling fan is intelligently controlled and only runs when required, thus increasing reliability and maintenance.
Eighteen different modules are optional for frequency regulation, including fieldbus, Ethernet, I/O, additional feedback devices and control conversion.
The system communication design can embed automation and control conversion into frequency converter, eliminating performance working delay.
Quick setup, configuration and monitoring
Quick and easy installation.
Configurable with optional removable keyboard.
Advanced Autotune features help you get the best performance from your machine.
PC Software and Smartcard tools for fast commissioning.
Intelligent networking with CTNet.
Programmable controller with SyPTLite.
Develop tailored solutions for application modules with SyPTPro.
Optional modules for all common Ethernet networks, industrial fieldbuses.
Practical applications
Easy integration with your motors, power supplies, application devices and communication network systems is guaranteed from the design stage.
Mentor MP delivers high performance and additional programmability for your applications with minimal conversion costs.
Control field
Standard field control is integrated into every Mentor MP.
Provides absolute safety control for the majority of DC motors.
Requires external components.
External base control is recommended when:
The field current required is greater than the current provided by the standard variable frequency drive, up to 25 A. For example, older motors with low voltage fields.
The electronic field is required to be reduced to a level faster than is possible with half the standard being tested.
Applications can be made with a simple field current reversal, without application reversal, if the machine operates it can still respond to the application.
