Overcurrent Error After Replacing the Bearing of the Servo
15/10/2025
Does the overcurrent error occur after replacing the servo bearing, and does the installation of the encoder have any impact?
Let’s answer this question together with Song Nguyen:
- When replacing bearings or removing the rotor, it is necessary to perform auto-tuning to recalibrate the motor parameters when reassembling.
- Replacing the bearing itself will not cause an overcurrent error.
- To avoid difficulties when removing the motor and rotor, it’s important to store the rotor upright and remove it slowly and vertically, avoiding contact with the stator.
Song Nguyên specializes in providing servo motors for hydraulic pumps and solutions for replacing traditional oil pumps with servo pumps, significantly saving electricity for injection molding machines (in some cases, we have helped customers save up to 70%).
