Wannan IE3, IE4, IE5 Motor Series

Wannan YE5 (IE5 Efficiency)

This series represents the highest efficiency standard currently available, featuring:

• Power range: 0.75 kW – 375 kW
• Frame sizes: 80 – 355
• Advantages:
  • Highest energy savings currently achievable (2026)
  • Can operate without a variable frequency drive (VFD), unlike permanent magnet motors
• Disadvantages:
  • Length is nearly twice that of IE3 motors
  • Significantly heavier than IE3 motors

Wannan YE3 (IE3 Efficiency)

This is the most widely used high-efficiency motor series, available in two versions: cast iron (Wannan YE3) and aluminum (Wannan YE3L).
